“ A must try! Came here with a big group. I Got a lychee mojito. Absolutely delicious. (10/10) We just ordered a lot of their appetizers. We got oysters (10/10) really good. Fresh, briny, house sauce had good flavors. Steamed balut with tamarind. Friends love it. (8/10) Crab legs (9/10) garlic butter was great. Crab was easy to crack and eat. Generous portions. Calamari (6/10) I didn't love it. Could have been crispier. Razor Clams with lemongrass sauce (10/10) we loved these and ordered more. Staff was REALLY attentive. The atmosphere is loud, think like a club/karaoke vibe. Definitely a fun atmosphere for a birthday dinner + night out. Which is what we were there for. ”
“ Specialty seafood Vietnamese style! Also has seafood boil and hotpot. Food: Fried softshell crab / Cua lột chiên bơ - 4/5 - pretty good not outstanding Balut egg, steamed Vietnamese style / hột vịt lộn luộc - 5/5 - ughhh I wish I got a smaller less developed duck fetus but those who like bigger more developed then you're in for a treat Steamed obtuse horn shell in coconut milk / Ốc len xào dừa - 5/5 - so succulently delicious Steamed whelk in Thai broth / Ốc hương hấp Thai - 4.5/5 - these whelks are big and filling and also can be a little tedious after a few Grilled blood clams with green onion / sò lông nướng mỡ hành - 4/5 - pretty good Grilled scallop with quail egg / Sò điệp nướng trứng cút - 5/5 - uniquely delicious Grilled scallop with green onion / Sò điệp nướng mỡ hành - 5/5 - loved this more simple style too Seafood boil (shrimp, crawfish, clams) - 4/5 - unique house flavor blending Cajun and Vietnamese style Combination fried rice - 3.5/5 - good but not outstanding Salty fish fried rice - 3.5/5 - good but not outstanding Ambience: Bar/restaurant with a large/spacious seating area Service: No complaints ”
“ The best hands down!! I love love love their seafood options. The sauce and everything it comes with is so good, this place is a must have when visiting. My absolute favorite are the razor clams with scallions. Service is friendly and attentive, inside is nice and spacious with a huge bar with a variety of selections including beer and cocktails. They have a great choice of music playing throughout the restaurant and even In the restrooms. You can also spin the wheel when it's your birthday, last time we got like 20-30% off our bill and a free beer! ”
“ I enjoyed the food and service. Staff are friendly. I think the style of pot used for the hot pot is good for presentation and pictures, but the food is already slowly cooking without being in the broth before one wants to have it. It comes with good amount of pho in which one order of hotpot certainly feeds 2 persons. This is also the first time I have thin noodles for garlic noodles, which is interesting and different. ”
“ I came by for seafood with a few friends. We had a few dishes to share like the crawfish, mango sales, blood clams, scallops, spring rolls, soft shell crab, friend quail. All the items were pretty good, the spring rolls were a bit underwhelming though which is sad. I think the seafood could have been a little bit less cooked, the scallops with quail egg were definitely over, where the scallop was slightly rubbery, and the blood clams kind of reminded me of chewing rubber. Flavors were good, textures were off. Also it took about an hour before we got the blood clams since they gave our clams to a different table. They apologized and gave us a few dollars off the clams. Considering it as an hour wait I was kind of surprised the restaurant didn't just comp it, but I guess it's ok. ”
“ First time here. Everything was great! My Tokyo tea was a tad sweet but I still drank it all. ”
“ Although pricey, the seafood here is delicious. Staff are nice and friendly. Of the times that I have been here, it's usually not busy. One of my favorites is the blood clams. Their drinks are always on point. SHQ is a great spot to eat and hang out with friends. ”
“ Have eaten here a couple of times, nice to now know it's here and not need to drive to San Jose. My favorites are the beef pickle eggplant salad and grilled scallop with quail eggs. My mom loves the monster chicken feet which is a crispy texture, not like the soft dim sum kind. Service is pretty good depending how busy they are. Large space inside with lots of seating, both tables and chairs and booths as well. Clean bathroom. ”
“ I really enjoy coming to this location for seafood. We had the fish sauce wings, blood clams, clam salad, a pound of crawfish, balut, and mango salad. Our friends also ordered some chowmein. I enjoyed all of the food, but the crawfish was so small that it was hard to enjoy given it takes so much work to eat. The waiter said it was in season so we expected a little more umph in the trunk. The balut was baked or something and a little different from the traditional way of eating it. Whatever you do eat the green sauce and pepper with everything it's amazing ! ”
